Short films are a useful medium for communicating complex ideas effectively and sharing knowledge with the community. CGDS produced 6 short films to expose and explore patriarchal mechanisms. The overarching theme of the films is “gender stereotypes and their harmful effects.” The films augment teaching material in class or during training, enhancing the understanding of gender as an oppressive social construct, rather than a biological given.
